NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT)

NCAT commenced operating on 1 January 2014 incorporating the Consumer, Trader and Tenancy Tribunal (CTTT).It is is the one-stop-shop for specialist tribunal services in NSW.

NCAT Retirement Villages Section

The RVRA will continue to monitor and often attend NCAT Consumer Division hearings.

RVRA makes submissions to government on any issues that may arise regarding residents and the Act and Regulation.

From time to time Peter Hill, the Honorary Solicitor for the RVRA Committee, provides legal opinion articles in the Newsletter and outlines some of the important cases heard in the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) with results assisting the residents across NSW.
