The activities and advocacy work of the RVRA supports residents in all NSW Retirement Villages and is undertaken by dedicated board members who are volunteers with limited administrative assistance.
Membership and donations are different ways to support the RVRA. Membership gives residents access to member benefits and strengthens the RVRA’s representative voice. Donations provide additional support for advocacy, education and resident support work.
The RVRA is a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission, and is endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office as a Public Benevolent Institution and a Deductible Gift Recipient (ABN: 16 674 035 894) making all Australian donations of $2 and over tax deductible.
