We are pleased to announce the release of the preliminary report from the Support at Home Survey, a national survey of retirement village residents developed by the RVRA in consultation with residents’ associations across Australia.
The survey received 2,451 responses and more than 8,800 written comments, providing a detailed picture of how residents are experiencing the Support at Home program.
The report provides an important snapshot of residents’ understanding, experiences and concerns about the Support at Home program, including issues relating to waiting times, costs, provider availability, service gaps, application stress and the role of retirement village living in supporting independence.
The final detailed report will be released in August 2026.
